HANDS-ON CLEANUP

April 29th, 2006 10:00am-1:00pm (Rain date May 6th)
Cedar St to Lowell St 

Please join Friends of the Community Path, and The West Somerville Green
Rainbow Action Club (http://www.greenparty.org/values.php), to clean the
future path. 

See the 25% design plans for the future path.

Volunteers should meet at Cedar St at the end of the existing Community
Path. All are welcome, all tools will be provided. (Bring your own gloves)

No trash picking skills necessary.

Our event is part of the City's Spring Clean Up Day.

Bike Party and Benefit
A Benefit for NEMBA & MassBike

Monday, May 15, 5 - 10 PM (Raffle @ 7:30)
55 Chester St., Davis Square, Somerville, MA 

Ride by and celebrate the spring cycling season and the first day of
2006's Bike to Work Week. Join commuters, recreational riders, couriers,
competitors, cycling clubs, etc.

A party to benefit two bicycle advocacy groups:

New England Mountain Bike Association (http://www.NEMBA.org) 
and
MassBike (http://www.Massbike.org)

Tickets: $15.00 ticket buys valet parking, redbones sandwich, lemonade or
soda, raffle ticket. Beer served inside, supplied by Harpoon.

100% of all proceeds will be donated to NEMBA & MassBike.
