2008 Somerville Spring Cleanup Saturday, May 3rd.

The annual Somerville Spring Cleanup will be held this Saturday, May 3rd,
from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., followed by a community BBQ and "SomerGreen"
environmental festival at Nuziato Field and the Community Growing Center. 
A rain date has been set for Saturday, May 10th.

After the citywide effort to pick up trash on streets, sidewalks, parks,
the Community Path, public squares and riverbanks, volunteers are invited
to gather for a celebration with music and refreshments at the Growing
Center at Nunziato Field.  The second annual “SomerGreen Festival,”
sponsored by Groundwork, will feature an environmental education fair
offering information and exhibits about green community initiatives
throughout the city.

WARD 1: Capuano School tot lot at Glen Street

WARD 2:  Union Sq Parking Lot @ SCAT Building

WARD 3:  High School Concourse

WARD 4:  Winter Hill School

WARD 5:  Community Path at Cedar St

WARD 6:  Davis Square, Statue Park

WARD 7:  Fire Station, Teele Square
