Mercury may fly off in the next million years.
Next billion years!  Next million years!
If its orbit's chaotic, it just won't be there!
What a big scare!  It wouldn't be there!

If spaceship mercury were to leave its ellipse,
No, there would be no eclipse, but still we would miss
Our sun's closest longtime companion
Never marked by man's fanion, it deserves a medallion!

What it would meet, I just really don't know.
Clouds of HO?  Aliens made out of dough?
I'm just glad the solar system will finally get some better PR
with Hermes out there as our messenger.
